Part of the ongoing Fragments series, this work explores perception before interpretation through spontaneous brushstrokes, layered traces and fragmented forms.
Created through intuitive gestures, drawing and collage elements originating from lithographic processes, the composition unfolds through reaction rather than fixed intention.
Ink, gouache, wax pastel, pencil and collage interact on fine art watercolor paper, allowing textures, interruptions and subtle shifts to remain visible. The surface remains open and unresolved instead of pushing the image toward completion.
Painting allows me to access a form of intuition I rarely encounter elsewhere. Something quiet and instinctive that feels increasingly important to protect within an overstimulated world.
